David Adams

David Adams is a Founding Partner and Broker at ACRE Partners, where he splits his time between ACRE’s development portfolio and running the brokerage side of the business. On the brokerage side, David represents properties ranging from small strip centers for private owners to multi-anchored power and lifestyle centers for institutional landlords.

Prior to co-founding ACRE Partners, David spent 11 years with The Woodmont Company, a full-service brokerage and development firm in Fort Worth, TX, where he was most recently Senior Vice President & Managing Director. During his tenure at Woodmont, he was responsible for the leasing & sale of over 3,000,000 square feet of existing and ground up retail. David is a four-time recipient of the Costar Power Broker award and was named to D CEO’s Power Broker list six times.

David graduated from Texas Christian University in 2010 with a Bachelors in Business Administration, double majoring in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, traveling, fishing, and trying new restaurants with family and friends.

Jimmy Cox

Jimmy Cox is a Founding Partner at ACRE Partners where his focus is comprised of pursuing new development opportunities for tenants, investors, and clients, lending strategic guidance in site selection, entitlements, financing, and deal structure. Jimmy works closely with a robust group of expanding retail tenants to create new opportunities across numerous markets.

Prior to co-founding ACRE Partners, Jimmy was President of Burk Collins & Co, Ltd., where he continued Burk Collins 50+ year legacy of real estate development. While at Burk Collins & Co., Ltd, Jimmy was responsible for leasing and development of 2,000,000 square feet of retail and medical office with development costs exceeding $250 million.

Jimmy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Angelo State University as a double major in Finance with Real Estate and Management. While there, he was a member of the university’s baseball team, was an active member of the Financial Real Estate Organization and the Student Athletic Advisory Committee.
